Today I had a Japanese lesson and I was so good that I completed all the things she had prepared after just half an hour. So I tried some conversation. I couldn't get much more than two or three sentances without needing to ask for an explanation but I think I did pretty well, and I now feel good about myself.
Today I decided to make pasta for my lunch. But I don't have much time to get ready in the morning and I didn't want to risk the pasta boiling over, so I ended up shaving in the kitchen.
Yesterday, as I was walking to work I went past a battered umbrella next to an empty bottle of champagne. It looked like Mary Poppins had got drunk and had a fight.
Oh, and two of my friends have split up. I was going to go and visit them this month, but now I think it'd be a bit awkward.
On Saturday I bought a pair of scissors, and as I was trying to get them out of the packaging, I thought to myself "I wish I had a pair of scissors".
I was typing a product desccription into the database at work, and instead of typing "non-toxic" I put "nun-toxic".
Well, it made me laugh.

Got a call from the guy who played Byron on B5 about a order he had with us. Thought I had recognized his name. It's funny with the comic shop online. Sometimes we get famous customers, actors and such. Sometimes we get writers or artists of books or their families ordering from us. It's kind of cool.
I got to the airport and I had a bottle of saline solution for my contact lenses. They grasped my plastic bag and dropped everything in the trashbin, not only the saline solution whose bottle I admit was a bit large, but also the itsy bitsy travel liquids you can't do without (shampoo, shower foam, toothpaste, tiny perfume). Now I have to wear glasses...at least I found toothpaste in a duty free shop otherwise I would have had to wash teeth with the hotel soap [img]frown.gif[/img]

The shop was right after the control desks.
The toothpaste costed me 4.80 euros. Normal price 2.30 euros.
Talk about jackals.
